É um switch gerenciado empilhável de camada 2+ de alto desempenho que atende aos requisitos de rede Metro, Data Center, Campus e Enterprise. Suporta capacidade de roteamento estático IPv4/IPv6 Camada 3 e abundante mecanismo de comutação L2/L4, com 24 portas 10G SFP+ e 2 portas 40G QSFP+ de alta densidade fornecidas em um chassi resistente de 1U.

Suporta a função de empilhamento que ajuda os gerentes de rede a configurar facilmente até 24 switches na pilha. A tecnologia de empilhamento IP agrupa os switches XGS-5240-24X2QR para permitir o gerenciamento centralizado por meio de uma única unidade.
